Limuru, Kenya
This morning M.G., Ken, and I left to go to Nairobi and we didn’t get home until nearly 6 o’clock.  We accomplished quite a bit.  We found Ken some tennis shoes-size 11.  They were made in the U.S. and cost 120 shillings.  Also found a tire for his unicycle which we have been needing for a long time.  Also got him 2 Charlie Pride records.  We ate lunch at the restaurant on top of the Conference center.  We got a letter from Alan today and one from Earl Martin with a lot of clippings about Alan.

We most likely left Limuru around 8:30-9:00am in the morning.  That meant we spent almost 8 hours shopping.  This must have been a record for me because normally I don’t like to spend 8 minutes in the stores.  However since most of the proceeds of this trip were coming my way I chose to remain calm and quite.

We had lunch in the only revolving restaurant in Kenya.  This was one of those places that give you a 360 degree view of the city while you eat.  The only problem was that someone had forgotten to grease the bearings and our trip around the compass seemed like it jerked one degree at a time.  As you can imagine this played havoc with the fine china.

And as always good news from home rounds out another great day on the mission field.
